Buddy you do this again and again. You don't say things staight out, but you make arguments that imply things, than when I call you on it, you say "I didn't say that".

I said "But that doesn't mean that its still a departure from the norm".

"its" means "it is". It was Christianity. "Is" implies the present not the past.

Either your statement was very sloppy and confused, or it was intended to imply a that Christianity was radical today. If its just an error, than fine I understand that, I make errors too. But then accept that you made the error. Or if you want just drop it. But don't try to defend the error if it really was a mistake on your part.
