McCain is disliked by the right and not disliked by just enough other Americans that he could squeak in, despite running on policies that are deeply unpopular

Oh we have so far to go yet. Given his age coupled with what I saw yesterday, I think it is yet possible that McCain gets blown out. How do you think he will do in a debate with Hillary or Obama? Either is much sharper than he is. They are refining their debating abilities while he is.........well getting older. One bad slip in a debate and he will look extremely "old" to the people.

<<<It could be hard to see any of them being elected with enough political capital to do much of anything except show up for work every day and fight with the other kids inside the Beltway.>>>

Do the math.

Hillary wins the women and the hispanic vote. She will not lose the black vote that show up.

She wins on the issues: The war, health care, and the economy.

She wins on experience, competence and smarts.

All her negatives are out there. They have thrown everything at her.

Everybody knows by now Hillary Clinton. If you are not against her now, you will never be against her. She will not win by much, but she is not going to lose.

Just do the math.
