But you don't start it with a left wing head of the ticket. There is already party for like that. Another problem is that GOP nominated someone who appeals to centrists at this time, so even if more digestable candidate for centrists started a new party (such as Bloomberg), this may not be the best year because of McCain being GOP nominee...
