Problem of waste disposal is entirely political one. The safe disposal side is blocked by Dems and Enviros. Are you oversimplifying? The states slated for receiving this stuff have been fighting as well. Take fluorescent lights. They are turning out to be an environmental disaster... Only if we chose it to be so...that is without a disposal and recycling process. They will no longer depend on Enviro nutcases,... I don't care for your B/W characterization...they have given us a sorely needed awareness that has led to cleaner air, water, protection of species, and the like. Al
