Michael and CHinu..you both are right..lapel pin, as dumb as it sounds to us here, it is a big issue that the right is making in their composite of Obama as an anti-patriot.. And for sure, elevating the discourse beyond that re: what indeed patriotism means..one example, policy of taking care of our troops when they come home is what I'd like see dominate but to not discuss the real issues the opposition is lining up is also unrealistic..besides, we need to be an incubator for those attack ads<g>
