Laz, Were a "Third & Fourth Chance" nation. Everyone gets too many chances when they screw up, be it a small time criminal or a large investment bank. What's more disturbing is how punishment is given. Write a bad check the local police print your name and hunt you down, but over leverage your whole financial institution and your only punishment is a fat bonus and a phone call before you leave, "Hello is Ben there? "Yeah this is Ben.." "dude, hellllpppp..send that F'ing Helicopter, I did it again" ps. I love how everyone on CNBS was excited and positive that Oil was now ONLY a $100/brl!!!.......same for gold at ONLY $920? LOL!! Look at their charts...they've just pulled back to their MA's. I could be totally wrong, but I don't think the bull trend is done for them anytime soon. pps...nice to see that last resort FED funding window got tapped for $30 Billion this week!! LOL...ufb..

Just got back from NYC, so haven't been following the thread.. but I see that China is supposed to reveal some of it's sub-prime exposure on Tuesday, and Britain's government was pushing their banks to be more transparent on their exposure to sub-prime loans.. So I guess the question is.. while US banks have been busy airing their dirty laundry (albeit not fully), is there another shoe or two to drop from European and Asian exposure being revealed? Hawk
