What I meant about SSD being a dud so far was this (see link below) and its still very expensive price versus HDs:

I think SSDs eventually will fly (that is why I said it's a dud...so far). But that may not happen till late 2008 or into 2009 as most of these problems are solved. However that would mean that this oversupply would continue till at least till then. And hoping that no new moron manufacturer comes with "increased capacity" till then.

What the NAND market needs right now is shutting down a few of the NAND fabs to make the ones running at least profitable. Cause it makes no sense to me for everyone to be making chips at a huge loss. Especially in this recessionary (and some would say depressionary) environment.
