It won't be the shredder. It will be sold off to the guys that they bailed out for 2 cents on the dollar. This will be timed to perfection.
They did this on the S&L stuff just months before real estate started back up.
Lines like , "The Fed is not in the business of Mortgages" will be tossed around.

I'm afraid so. This is called "monetizing bad debt". Under
this scenario the dollar goes to 10^-(some nasty power), as
happened to many countries in the past.
