i think the opposite. I think she is continuing because she will only do this once and sees this as her only chance. Even for a clinton, she will be 65 next time and will not have the strength to do this again...

Clearly she knows she has no chance to win the nomination. The only explanation for her behavior is that she wants McCain to win so that she can run again in 2012.

That's what the Clintons did in 2004. They put up their politically-inexperienced tool, Wesley Clark, and said the Democratic candidate had to have military experience to lead the country during wartime. So Kerry became the nominee, "Reporting for doody," and went down in flames, leaving the field open for Hillary this year.

I think she still thinks she can win. And if not this year, she can run again in 2012 or 2016.
