It's volume. Notionals went down just 800 billion, and look
at all the volatility we had. De-leveraging. We never had
something like this happen before - notionals kept growing,
so it's anybody's guess what happens when they start coming
down. Will it be like housing, and price will follow
volume? Hmm... We know about part of derivatives market, the
CDS and all this credit stuff. They went to money heaven. -g-
If bear was JPM's counterparty (a good guess), some OTC
notionals definitely went away in the "takeover" -g-
