Yes, he is a perfect complement for Obama, with extensive national security experience and political influence out West where the Dems could pick off a state or two.

Along with Webb, Richardson would be on my short-short list for Obama's VP. I think Hillary would go more for Strickland or Bayh in a midwestern swing state.

Edwards would be a better choice.

There are problems with Richardson. There are character issues out there.
