Wright's successor is completely in tune with Wright's theology. Obama is still a member of the church.

I believe you're correct. The clips were probably some of the worst things he said. However, I also believe a philosophy of hate America echoed from that church for many years. Blame, blame, blame was the centerpiece of their ideals. Blame society, the government, the white man, the past, our history, this or that company laying off workers ect.

Blame is not an uplifting ideal. Blame and linking that blame with christian theology is even more insideous.

According to this ABC report...

"An ABC NEWS review of over a dozen sermons, which are offerred for sale by the church, found reverend Wright going far beyond issues of Africa, Wright says the U.S. is under the influence of the KKK and Republican blacks as sellouts".
