Speaking of Iraq, it was revealed last night that the reason The Surge "worked" was that we are paying billions of cash to both sides to stop fighting. That's partly where the money is going, making rich men out of every enemy we ever had in Iraq, including those who have killed a lot of our troops. And so now the Iraqis want us there forever, blackmailing us basically into paying them not to be violent and make Bush-Cheney look like the corrupt failures they are.
