FOX reports what their audience wants to hear. Since their audience is only a tiny slice of the households that could watch them for free if they wanted to, it's not hard to pitch an ideologically pure message to the faithful.

That's fascinating. So when Wright said, after 9/11, that "America's chickens are coming home to roost", he was quoting Ambassador Edward Peck, (a white man) who had been on Fox News talking about the attacks. Peck, in turn, had been quoting Malcolm X.

The bulk of the sermon is about restraint and self-examination.

Quite remarkable, really.
