Democrats have a hard enough time winning the presidency under the best of circumstances (3-7 in the last ten elections). I don't think anyone has won after a hard, bloody death march just to get the nomination over the political corpse of their rival.

Yes, that's why I think the stakes should be raised ... if Hillary loses, she and her supporters should be cast out of the democratic party, and democrats should curse whenever their names are mentioned.

Playing those kinds of games with a member of your own party is dirty pool ... if they want a knife fight, as Ms. Cluney keeps saying, imo they should get one.
