All that is left is to decide how to punish the wayward puppy for repeatedly pissing on the carpet.

You mean the puppy was hit with the rolled up newspaper today, and will get hit again tomorrow if it continues to pee?

Could be. Guess we'll see how smart the puppy is.

Fortunately, Obama will probably rise above petty vindictiveness and work to unify his own party going into the fall.

By not stooping to their level, he can leave the turd-throwing campaign style on the dust heap of history. McCain looks like he might do the same, at least within his immediate campaign staff. That would be refreshing too. He just fired somebody for making a cheesy Obama video.

Nothing succeeds like success. And living well is the best revenge, not going after others.

"All that is left is to decide how to punish the wayward puppy for repeatedly pissing on the carpet."

Obama stated that she (who seems some can no longer refer to without a derisive nickname attached) is his friend now and will be after the nomination is decided. I would think that still holds true, and that Hillary will be doing all she can to bring in her supporters and others to help elect him in November. The Clintons know a great deal about dirty politics more, imo, because of those practiced against them, not by them. It is not a bad tactic to get this all out, and out of the way, before the hyper-conservative attacters can use such things as Rev Wright in October, or other such kitchen sink things. It could even be considered a cleverly orchastrated pre-ememptive slurring, with Hillary, yet again, bearing a hefty portion of the personal attacks in the end, from those in her party, no less. And I doubt many of those who speak in those terms about Hillary that have been especially used the last two days much liked her before.

One thing I don't think can be doubted about Hillary is that she can take a blow and cover someone's back. I think it was clever of Bill to bring up race before SC... bush used it against one of his own there to great effect not long ago. and what Gerry said? it would have been said loudly by the opposition, if hadn't already been whispered. Get it all out in a situation when it is early and can be orchestrated more by the dems themselves, and defused, rather than a full-on assault by others.

by november - a rev wright won't have any traction. or a muslim uncle. or time spent living in indonesia. or the other lil things that would have been blown up to huge porportions.

is this hasn't all been by design, it is playing out beautifully in any event, imo.
