Yes the fact his grandmother considering her time may have said that in who knows what context did not make any impression. The fact that obama says she said it and expressed it in the context of his address does make one's skin crawl. I would now like to know every nuance of how and when his grandmother spoke those words.
But out of respect for the dignity of that woman, I would not press it.
