Michelle's comment about being proud of her country for the first time

How sure are you that she said what you say she said.

Today I am proud because I respect the Presidency and don't care much about the President. But with President Obama, I will really feel proud because I can then really respect the Presidency and the President.

Bob -

You're assuming something that is not in evidence. You're assuming that Wright's sermons were generally like the two or three of them that have caused this furor.

Once again, I'll ask that you check this out:

According to those who should know, both black and white congregants at the church, the example above is far and away more representative of the kinds of sermons given by Rev. Wright.

I must tell you that if I believed for one moment that all or even a large percentage of the sermons that Obama sat through were of the "God Damn America" variety, I would have having serious questions about him, too. But there is ample evidence to the contrary.
