Do you think all these people listening to hate speeches like Wright's are going to some how or another feel good that a black man has made it to the White House? They certainly dont appear to mind deriding successful blacks. I don't think anyone is going to care what they think one way or another, they are not very significant numerically and electorally. If it weren't for the link to Obama, Rev. Wright would have passed into retirement largely unknown and unremarked by the world at large beyond his own congregation and a few other likeminded venues. Sound and fury, signifying nothing, IMHO. People seem to have a need to vent some anger at them. Enjoy, because the whole thing won't matter diddly in a little while.
