I find myself wondering this, too.

I heard on Fox that Oprah attended Trinity, took a dislike to Wright's screeds and left. And that Wright has attacked her from the pulpit over it.

I totally agree with your points.

He needs some additional seasoning.

It's my belief that the victim mentality is propagated by black leaders that talk like Rev Wright. He has done a dis-service to his congregation by telling them "rich white people" are the root of their problems.

A person has to realize they are feeding the victim behavior by acting like one. At that time you stop blaming others for your troubles and take responsibility for your life.

At that time you are freed of the victim syndrome. It's a great feeling.
