From that time, without let up, Qualcomm stock has been capped, due to litigation and licensing uncertainties, despite solid financial and engineering execution. That is not Paul's fault, and to blame him is unfair and simplistic.

I'm not blaming PJ for Q being under attack. That would have happened regardless of who was CEO. The reason why I mentioned him at all was in the context of my complete loss of confidence in Q's legal maneuvers. I wouldnt have this loss of faith if Q had simply lost some cases, but the embarrasing record in some of these trials cant be ignored. Lupin has been the fall guy for the results, but as CEO, PJ has some responsibility as well.

Now, that doesnt mean that I am looking for him to be fired today. However, if the legal track record doesnt improve, I do think that scenario enters the picture.
