Good answer.

The speech was given during the Viet Nam war, in 1967. The speaker was Martin Luther King.

Of course my point in posting that was only that some people might find it very offensive to have someone suggest that the United States was the biggest purveyor of violence on the planet.

Yet no one judges Dr. King based on one little snippet like that.
