Not really, but your original post pretended like the only two items on the budget were interest payments and the military.

Like I asked before, what about the other $2 trillion? Sure, we'll be out of Iraq sooner or later, hopefully sooner, but even if you cut off all spending on Iraq we'll still have quite a deficit on our hands.

So what goes next?
