Yes is does not have a large African-American population and in spite of that we had a jam packed stadium. I watched the event live and I could only spot one non-White in the crowd sitting behind Obama.

I think a majority of the Americans only want to be reminded of their past stretching to 1965. A pastor here or a journalist there or a blogger somehow yearning for attention and power and who is very insecure want to fall back of on the racial issue. And Hillary, who is very insecure at this time is no exception. It is very heartening to see that 72% of the American people feel that Obama did a good job handling the issue of race this week.
