I hear ya........ They tend toward being totally homophobic. They also believe that any woman who plays sports is an automatic lesbian. I have heard Pastors warn their congregation about allowing their daughters to play sports..................it's ridiculous but people in this country do believe this BS. One poor teenage gal I knew of had to do homeschooling because she couldn't dress out in gym clothes. Her words were, " All those lesbians were watching me when I was changing". It's sad, but people do believe their Pastor's words and many of these Christian fringe religions are homophobic. I observed this religion with absolute horror over their non-christian approach to so many individuals.
