Wrong premise Kenneth. The men had already contracted syphillis when the study began in the 1930s--they were not deliberately infected with the disease. This incident sounds like an earnest medical attempt to find the cure for syphillis that never produced results. The liberal media used the study to paint the US government as evil and the anti-America crowd as always is happy to join them.
