Michelle's comment came in the context of how many new voters were getting interested in politics and wanting change. That context has largely been erased from those who use the remark as a bludgeon now. When the Gingrich revolution came around, I'm sure a lot of Clinton haters were suddenly proud and hopeful that the new political current then was going to right the shameful policies of the Clintons in their view. Same old, same old. So much of this stuff that ignites other people makes me yawn.
