I am a bit surprised to hear this from a libertarian. I wasn't suggesting that we make any laws penalizing those who don't love this country. I was suggesting that, as a matter of conscience, if you can't love your country, you should find another. You can be loyal and devoted to your country without loving it or having a huge swelling pride in it. I differentiated clearly between love and pride. It's like the mother of a murderer. She still loves him because he is her son. She loves him no matter what he does. Is she proud of him? Hell, no.
