Rambi - "YOu think, well, they treated us as non-human before, why not again?"

indeed, indeed. and do not people oft say 'fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me'. of course the past events cause any Sane person to stop and consider if it is happening again, especially with a killing illness that no one, supposedly, can explain the origin of. (did i dangle something there?) and, as a non-heterosexual (am growing fond of that term) you have people who would wall off a city and let the 'bad' people within it die, and you know there are people in places of power who share that view, is it such a stretch to at least consider that an illness that came out of nowhere and no one can, or will, explain, and it attacks africa, and in america blacks and gay men (and we know they not the only promiscuous ones, tho, yes, gay men as a truism are rather especially so)... to think... maybe... just maybe... someone intended this and introduced it? i frankly and as a generally non-paranoid person can not but consider the possibility in light of history and in light of the deeply held desire of some for gays and blacks to vanish from the earth. i think i would be naive to not consider the possibility, but naive and non-rational not to learn all i can on the subject and be willing to accept a yes or no on the subject. but no one who has not had people suggest that their 'group' be killed of has any right, imo, to say i should not consider the possibility and research it. to say 'nah, no one would do that. you are nuts' is naive of them, in turn, i think.

and... am not living in the holler but visit as much as i can. i love it there.
