“S.F. deficit grows to projected $338 million
San Francisco city officials have expected to be short hundreds of millions of dollars for next year's budget””
Sf's virulent anti- business taxes and wage demands have taken there toll. Progressive politics and the resulting bureaucratic bloat swiftly kill any entrepreneurial enterprise. The City is now a shining example of how to destroy productive tax enhancing businesses by pandering to the "feel good" interest groups that care for nothing but their own petty agendas. Just look in the mirror San Francisco, and you know whom to blame for the multiple financial crisis looming ahead

From Murray's writing regarding Obama:

"I can't vote for him. He is an honest-to-God lefty. He apparently has learned nothing from the 1960s. His Supreme Court nominees would be disasters. And maybe he is too green and has lived too much of his adult life in a politically correct bubble. But the other day he talked about race in ways that no other major politician has tried to do, with a level of honesty that no other major politician has dared, and with more insight than any other major politician possesses. Not bad."

Comment:

The question is "How could Obama have learned anything from the 1960's'

Obama was a baby born in August 1961.

Obama was just four years old in August of 1965 and 9 years old in 1970. In the 1970's, Obama was in middle school and high school doing what pre-teens and teenagers did during the 1970's growing up in beautiful Hawaii.

Obama's interpretation of the 1960's comes from several major sources ---family background, religion or lack of religion, education from books and teachers, peer group and friends-----plus; later, the three universities he attended on the mainland.

Murray should revisit this putting the timeline into perspective.
