I can't begin to guest at just how much we were shaped by tv. Used to be that almost all programing was nothing more than morality plays. Well, there's still TVLand...<gg>

If we're going to date ourselves while we take this nostalgia trip.... I used to watch Gunsmoke almost from it's earliest days in black & white.... all the way to the very end.

The last 10 or so years I watched it with my grandmother (Nana). It was must see TV for me.
