Now the big brouhaha that would follow might be healthy, or it might just split the black churches. Are you sure that would be a bad thing? Maybe a little creative destruction would be useful. I don't know that it would, just don't know that it wouldn't. I think it would have to come from blacks, to be successful Indeed. That's what I mean by suggesting that I'm not in a position to influence. My blue eyes and still partly blond hair disqualify me. It would take great statesmanship to do that on a national level. But some head of some seminaries might tackle it or some department in some college might offer a course. Waiting is definitely the safer course, though, as long as the young people aren't buying into it. Perhaps a survey of young blacks...
