boys boys boys, behave. (ooops, baiting again) but... i will say as was thinking last night on the word 'disappointed'. i hadn't listened to that clip before but now i hear she uses it. i was disappointed leading up to the iraq war. so much so i have barely left my house for 5 years. i dun know what was like other places, but here i truly did hear people on the radio, not talkshow people, but your average disc-jockey, laughing and hollering 'turn iraq into a parking lot'. and what had they done? nothing. but people repeated that over and over. the bloodlust after 9/11 reached epic levels. someone had to pay for it. and afganistan was not enough. someone had to die big time. course osame bin laden would have made sense but seems we can't find him. and 1 person was not enough. when people start chanting to turn a country into a parking lot they know and accept the killing of innocents. kill them all. kill them raghead arab muslim non-christians, even tho they had nothing to do with 9/11 and didn't have wmds. kill them all. kill someone to make 'me' feel better. yes... for the first time in 5 years i am beginning to believe again. to be able to leave the house and not cringe when i see people, realizing finally i am not seeing the hate and bloodlust in their eyes. and tho i don't think 'god' operates by damning a country for such actions, why should not those who sanctioned the slaughter of innocents, the destruction of a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and was no true threat to us... why should, if they are christian or other, not get down on their knees and pray for forgiveness for having struck out in anger and caused such distruction. we did. no way around that. no excuse.
