I'm equally as worried about losing financial institutions. If we have a bunch of failures its not going to be good. I've blamed the banks all along for this mess but failures are just not an option.
Yeah. Is telling them that making any reckless, foolish bets they choose is OK? Do you trade that way?
As long as a whole bunch of them make it and face the gov't with the 'too big to fail" problem? Where does that lead?
Is this a capitalist system or isn't it?
Didn't those '125% of equity' HELOCs strike you as at least just a little stupid? No?
You let them fail, the NEXT time some idiot suggests something like that, he'll be fired- -on the spot!
