The conduct of Broadcom, in refusing to sign a cross-license unless Qualcomm handset royalties were eliminated, can only be rationalized by conspiratorial promises from Nokia, some of which have since seen fruition.Tempered by great disappointment in Qualcomm's legal team, I would hope (like Slacker) that they have more than that one e-mail from the PR firm, and circumstantial inferences, from the outset. The EC conspirators have had two years to cover their tracks, during which Steve Altman has alerted them to his awareness of The Project Stockholm Group. My litigator's gut tells me there is an unclean conspiracy behind the PSG, and the coordinated NOK/BRC litigation, licensing, and business strategies. Let's see whether Qualcomm can successfully pan for gold.
