Thanks, Dale. That bit about Uganda helps. I reach my conclusions just based on my own sense of who each--Bill and Hillary--was. I suspect one of the places we disagree is in terms of her capabilities. I'm extremely impressed by them. Still am. Despite my concerns over the effects of the kind of campaign she has run and her serious policy mistakes--Iraq and the method of coming up with the health care plan in 93. I don't see any way she can now get the Dem nomination, given that, best I can tell, Obama has stemmed the tide, but if she were to do so, I would certainly vote for her over McCain. The differences between the two on issues I care about are immense.

In general I would say hilary has many times the experience of obama. In particular she may be the most experienced politians alive at beating wraps for criminal conduct. Her hubby has the worse Presidential record so far. McCain is the oldest and longest serving, McCain has flown jets and has survived crashing 5 of them in his military career. With all those who seriously considering obama, genuine experience as a consideration is a joke. With all those who seriously considering hilary, genuine experience as a consideration is a delusion. For those who seriously consider experience, McCain is the far lesser of evils. So if Aliens come on the 4th of July, McCain has to be the man. But we can send obama to stand under the alien ship and talk to them about healing the wounds. hilary can be backup. Come on, obama ain't no will smith.
