Thomas,

I don't doubt the honesty of your opinion or how it is arrived at. I was just pointing out other information(that is referenced in scientific, peer reviewed journals) that would seem to cast some doubt on the veracity of some of what Limbaugh talks about.

<< I also believe many need an excuse not to listen to Rush because his arguments are so compelling.>>

Just don't doubt the honesty of those of us that reach an opposite conclusion.

Personally, I like to listen to opinions from the opposite end of the political spectrum. No one side ever has all the correct solutions to the problems facing us today. But I am attracted to shows the I feel are more credible in their open discussions as well as the information that is presented being correct. One radio show on public radio that does this is the Diane Rehm show. She often has political discussions with someone from the right, the center and the left and she chooses guests that actually talk and listen to each other. This is the type of roundtable discussion that I tend to learn the most from. One of the many things I never liked about Limbaugh's show is that he is the one who gets to frame the argument he wants to attack and I haven't found that he does that in an honest manner.

But that is just my opinion. Obviously, you disagree which is cool. It is what makes the world go 'round.

Neal

His arguments are so one sided that one can predict his spin. I listen to him through sheer lack of any other radio stations in NC to which I can tune in. I don't find him humorous, however as I find him a big buffoon.

Bill O Reilly is much more centered and that is saying something.

Even Hannity is willing to listen to all sides.. sometimes.

Rush has every call screened before he will accept it.

I find him an egotistical big bag of wind... with a drug habit from which he got off by paying for high priced lawyers..

To think he had the audacity to condemn other addicts while he himself was one is the height of hypocrisy to me and that is what he is . A big hypocrite. Just my HUMBLE opine
