"Findings of honesty and wisdoms also takes hundreds if not thousands of hours of research."

I've never seen a scientific experiment aimed at findings of honesty and wisdoms. Could you perhaps point us to a study with such findings that you think is emblematic?

Thomas,

I find this attitude interesting.

You can always find some research that is not up to snuff. To dismiss all the "good stuff" because a small part of it is wrong is being intellectually dishonest in my opinion. You can then ignore anything that you don't agree with and feel justified.

So, for example, are you saying you want to take medicines that you think will help versus those that have been studied and we know help and we know the side effects for? Do you want a surgical procedure that has been studied or do you want something that is untested but sounds like it might be good?

Again, this is just my opinion, but I find the hardest thing to do as I get older to keep from getting tunnel vision in my attitudes and opinions. I find that when I look through the same prism all the time for answers, I may be missing the solution to a problem that is very evident by just looking at it in a slightly different way. It is definitely more comfortable to have just one set of unchanging rules, but I find it limiting in terms of choices and honest answers.

Good luck in finding the truth you are looking for. But remember that the truth can also appear to be different to different people.

Neal
