I just returned from a vacation in San Francisco. That place really makes you appreciate mass transit. We were able to go wherever we wanted by subway, trolley, or bus by just flashing a pass. The longest wait was about 20 minutes, and that was outside the Cliff House restaurant which is on the far edge of town I know........its great.......SF and NYC are the closest we have to European cities. Portland, San Diego and even LA are getting there......unfortunately, Seattle is way behind.
