as a matter of conscience, if you can't love your country, you should find another As a fundamental premise, your basic assumption here tells people that they can't have a clear conscience unless they "love" their country. If you polled worldwide, I doubt you would find more than minority support for that view. And in general, telling people what they have to love to have a clear conscience is just.....icky, IMHO. Suppose I come up with a list of things you should love to have a clear conscience, according to my assumptions and prejudices? You would tell me to where to get off, faster than a seat belt law. ;<)
