When you say "I think people should show up for work every day"- you don't have to add "or they should just quit their jobs."

I think that was the problem people had with your statement about loving countries. I mean if people don't love their job, do they have to quit it? Do you expect them to quit it? It's a lot more feasible for most people to quit a job they hate, yet you don't expect them to quit it. For people who live here it would be really difficult to leave this country- even if they really hated it.

That's not to say you can't argue that people should find some other country to live in if they don't love this one, or like it enough, or whatever, but other people don't have to accept that statement. It would be nice if everyone could live in a country they really liked, but life isn't like that. You mostly live and die where you are born, based on the accident of your conception. What people might want, or what they might love, has a little to do with many people's lives.
