Not as much, maybe, but some. It's that very specialness that eventually enabled undoing the official obstacles and protects minorities going forward. Glass half full, seems to me.

Yes, considering the conditions of life in the world today. Consider things like opportunity for luxury, starvation, death by disease murder and mayhem, black in America are so far worse off than blacks in Africa,

I just cannot figure out why they are not voting with their feet.

All the beautiful unpolluted nature in Africa. One does wonder.
