I guess they've forgotten Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. and that southern white democrats started the KKK as well.

forgotten Abraham Lincoln was a Republican. The party is paying for the welcoming arms put out to the Southern Whites who rushed over to the Republican side after the civil rights act was passed. In the South, we are the party of segregation, as far as the Blacks are concerned.
