It's sad that the electorate doesn't have more respect for the issues they say concern them most. On election day, they will mostly go in and vote based on personal impressions and the negatives that all the campaigns try to drive up in each other. It's a total crap process - the spin game in the primary lull is just an example of the deeper problem. But it's unlikely to change much. So whoever we elect, the chances are good we will hate their guts a year or two into their presidency too. GIGO.
