On the surface its easy to say - screw 'em.....let 'em sink. BUT I PROMISE YOU if the Fed thought having a BSC or LEH fail would be no big deal they'd have let 'em fail. They tossed 30b's in because they were worried that the house of cards would come crashing down all around us. If I were Ben would I bail out Mike's Pizza delivery service? ck no! WOuld I have done everything in my power to bail out BSC to avoid a potential cascade of financial failures that would hurt every American citizen? ck yes!
