If there is a problem, fix the problem- don't have hearings and catch people for lying. I mean it's rare that we don't know what the problem is, you know? How does the legislative branch fix problems in the executive branch without finding out just who did what with the money Congress appropriated? Just cut the funding to key government functions until the president's appointee makes something better? I know why you didn't like what happened to Clinton, but IMHO, government needs much more accountability, not loopholes you can drive a truck through to give them less. We have already seen what happens when an administration holds the idea of accountability (and Congress in general) in contempt.
