Thomas; The President's duty first is to protect Americans. Your argument would hold a lot more persuasion had Bush stuck with his original reason for going into Iraq. Now we are there to "free a people" - to create a democracy in our own vision. With each different reason that Bush has proposed - he has lost support. Fool me once shame on you, most Americans are smart enough to not be fooled again. Meanwhile where we need to put our efforts - where the people who attacked us came from - that war front has suffered because of our wandering off the target and going into Iraq. steve
