Thomas;

To me the largest return on investment is in human capitol in the training by experience of doing real acts

Real acts of war? I'm confused by your statement.

Should we add up our return in investment in Iraq? 4,000 dead and near 30,000 that for the rest of their lives will live with the scars of war. Cost to taxpayers of well over a trillion dollars. I think it is at about 10,000 for every liveing American now - so add up your family members and send in your check or else we are going to start charging your kids interest on the amount. How many dead Iraq citizens? We don't even care enough about that to keep track and how many wounded? And how many homeless? Something over a million people have left the country to live in camps in other countries. Oil now at 100 bucks a barrel because of loss of American buying power because of of debt to run the war. Yup some return on investment. So much better than putting money into health research or renewable energy or child care or.......Oh man, you could flush the money down the toilet and get a better return than we get in Iraq.
