I would like to suggest you know less about Americans than you think.

I would also like to suggest that you have entire countries i Europe smaller than many of our counties- -a subdivision of our states, which are a subdivision of our nation.

The economic situation of the countries and the exchange value of their currency also influences this. Europeans know this quite well. Remember when Europeans couldn't even DREAM of visiting the US?

We'll be back. Count on it. Hopefully we won't waste time rescuing Europe from its stupidities again, though.

In 1966, de Gaulle ordered American troops out of France. LBJ, the US President, instructed his Secretary of State to ask if de Gaulle wanted the United States to move American cemeteries out of France as well. (The government of France said no.)

Settle your own problems. We saw how well you did with Yugoslavia.

Most "americans" never travel outside thier country
and would not be able to name allies during WWII.

Most of our WWII allies have forgotten we saved their asses more than once.
