Qualcomm has ended no one's handset royalty business. All licensees are free to press the full commercial values of their portfolios against anyone else. All agreements of all companies are arms length, bilateral, and between sophisticated entities, having the best engineering and legal advice available. Qualcomm's numerous licenses speak to the value of their IPR, as do the licenses others, such as Infineon,Freescale, TI,NXP, Nokia, Moto, Samsung, Sony/Ericsson, Ericsson, LG, Huawei, ZTE, etc., have been able to sign. All of those industry participants obviously know more than anyone on this board, even Stock Farmer, as to the relative commercial values of the inventions of the various companies.
